Cabin Rental Information

Information to help you plan for your stay in the Cabin:

  • There are 30 single beds (16 sets of bunk beds) and a dining area.
  • There is NO kitchen.
  • Hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels are provided.
  • Cleaning agents are located under the bathroom sinks and under the hand washing sink.
  • There are two restrooms.
  • There are five shower stalls.
  • You may bring your pets, but they must stay outside. Waste must be properly disposed of.
  • You will need to bring your own sleeping bag or bedding.
  • You will need to bring your own cook stove or grill, all utensils, dishes, soap, and towels for showering.
  • The thermostat is programmed to bring the temperature up to 68-70 Friday afternoon and continueheating until Sunday afternoon. If you are too cold or too hot use the up-down arrows to adjust the temperature on the thermostat.
  • The operation of ATV or motorcycles on the property is prohibited by the Forest Service.
  • The operation of snowmobiles is only allowed on the 7-acres we lease from the Forest Service.
  • The Pine Basin property is from the bridge to the base of the mountain and the propane tank to thecabin on the hill. All other property is Forest Service!

 

Operations on National Forest lands are authorized under special use permit by the Caribou-Targhee National Forest and operated on a non-discriminatory basis.

Directions: Follow Highways 26 to Swan Valley. Turn left at the Swan Valley store onto State Highway 31. Go approx. 7 miles and you will see the lodge on the right side of the road.

Cleanup Instructions for Pine Basin Cabin
Help keep rental costs low by doing the following:

  • Each mattress has two covers on them. Please remove the top mattress cover (fitted) and place on topof the bed(s) you used.
  • Cleaning rags are on the counter.
  • If furniture was moved, locate back to original position.
  • Bathrooms
    • Toilets are cleaned inside and out (brush & cleaner are found under the sinks in the restrooms).
    • Sinks and counters are scrubbed and clean, chrome is polished.
    • Mirrors are clean and streak free.
    • Showers are scrubbed and liners are pulled closed.
    • Shower mats are hung on stall doors to dry.
    • Floor is swept/vacuumed and mopped.
  • Dining Area
    • Tables and chairs are wiped and clean.
    • Counter tops are wiped and sanitized.
  • All floors
    • Dust mops, brooms, and wet mops are in the closet by the front door.
    • Floors are mopped with plain water.
    • Please change your water frequently to avoid streaks on the floors.
  • Rugs are shaken and placed in front of the doors.
  • Please dump all garbage in the blue dumpsters (near the lodge) and put new liners in the trash cans.
    • Liners are on the shelf.
  • If you brought pets, make sure all waste is properly disposed of.
  • All lights are off.
  • Windows and doors are closed and locked when you leave.
  • *To prevent frozen pipes during winter:
    • Leave bathroom space heaters on low
